The Brand of Ted Murphy

by Shawn Collins on March 16, 2009

I am starting up a new, solo podcast on branding called Brandmouthing. It’s going to be all about building, protecting, repairing, promoting, and anything else revolving around personal and corporate brands.

I like to observe, track and think about brands a lot, so I figured I’d unless my loosely organized thoughts on a regular basis.

For the initial show, I just gave a quick introduction to the show and talked about how Ted Murphy, CEO of IZEA, is doing a good job with his personal and corporate brands.

Here is a t-shirt I got from Ted at SXSW – one of many ways he extends his brand…

Show Notes

I kept it short and sweet this time around, because I came back from SXSW with a cold and I’m all stuffed up, but I’ll beef up future episodes.

Check out http://brandmouthing.com/ for a collection of all future episodes of Brandmouthing, as well as images, videos, etc. that I mention on the podcast. Subscribe to the Brandmouthing RSS feed.

Shawn,
It was so nice to see you at SXSW. I love the idea behind this new podcast and I am honored to be the first person you featured on the show.

Great to see you in SXSW – and just for the record, there was no licking for that shirt.
