<p>Second, Mitch talks about how brands can go about taking their first step into digital once they&#8217;ve decided what their goals are. And finally, Mitch discusses the role that analytics plays in any digital campaign or strategy.</p>

<p>The first thing Kim discussed was the new Plenty of Fish ad platform. They&#8217;ve recently added new features, and offer advertisers a variety of targeting options.</p>
<p>Kim also talked about what Plenty of Fish to marketing itself. One point of interest is how Plenty of Fish does not really use any social media. That being said, they&#8217;re relatively secretive about what they&#8217;re doing online to acquire new users. But the company is very active offline, doing everything from conventional advertising to appearing in Lady Gaga videos.</p>

<itunes:summary>One of the people we got to catch up with at Affiliate Summit East 2010 was Kim Kaplan, the VP of Plenty of Fish. Kim took a few minutes to chat with us about what Plenty of Fish is up to these days.

The first thing Kim discussed was the new Plenty of Fish ad platform. They&#039;ve recently added new features, and offer advertisers a variety of targeting options.

Kim also talked about what Plenty of Fish to marketing itself. One point of interest is how Plenty of Fish does not really use any social media. That being said, they&#039;re relatively secretive about what they&#039;re doing online to acquire new users. But the company is very active offline, doing everything from conventional advertising to appearing in Lady Gaga videos.</itunes:summary>
