Episode 55 of the Cast of Geeks was an exercise in torture. It was only myself and Lisa Picarille on the call, and I most definitely hit record on the Pamela software, which was confirmed by the pleasant audio notification: “This Call is Being Recorded.”
Only it wasn’t. Pamela lied to me and a quality hour-long conversation is in the vapors – the second time in a month.

So anyway, after I picked up my monitor from the floor and knocked out the dent from punching it, I recorded a recap of the call and touched on the Diggnation guys on Jimmy Fallon, playing with my Kindle 2, a guy getting fired from the Philadelphia Eagles for his Facebook status, David Prager from Revision3 having his house broken in by Michael Myers, and a bunch of other stuff.

Show notes:
- Jimmy Fallon, Engadget Dude Fondle Palm Pre
- Kevin and Alex scheduled for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
- Pizzeria Delfina on Yelp
- Pizzeria Delfina’s Genius Anti-Yelp T-Shirts
- Facebook post gets worker fired
- Valley Exec Twitters Through Home Break-In
- SXSW On Teh Cheap
- Thesis WordPress Theme

I'm sure it's a fantastic PC, but its greatness doesn't bring back the podcasts. Swallow your PC pride and use the machine that works better for podcast recording!
Nothing to do with PC pride – I just prefer my main computer.
And there's human error at play here, too. I can just double-check how things are running in the future.
I don't recognize any improved sound from Mac recorded podcasts over PC recorded podcasts.
We use PowerGramo to record our Skype calls for the Reset Radio podcast… No problems yet *fingers crossed* and it also allows for a little audio tweeking too.
