PMA Industry Report: Love What You Do

by Lisa Picarille on March 17, 2011

Welcome to the Performance Marketing Association Industry Report, a podcast dedicated to the most pressing issues impacting advertisers, publishers, networks and agencies.

We are continuing with our series of profiles where we talk with leaders in the performance marketing space bout lessons they’ve learned on their way to becoming successful.

Roger Snow joined host Lisa Picarille.

Roger is the President of Snow Consulting, an Outsource Program Management firm. He came to the Internet and affiliate marketing in 1999 from managing Wal-Mart retail stores in Western Canada for seven years. During his tenure in the affiliate marketing industry, Roger has personally transformed new and existing affiliate programs into a major revenue stream for their respective companies.

We started off talking about Roger’s background as a manager for Wal-Mart and how he moved into the affiliate space to oversee a program for a start-up. We then got into how he learned about affiliate marketing; what drove him to go out on his own; the value of connecting with others; how what he learned at Wal-Mart has helped him; why it’s so important do something you love; and much more.
