Joey Devilla on the ASP .NET MVC Framework

by CT Moore on March 24, 2010

At Confoo, NVI we also got a chance to sit down with Joey Devilla from Microsoft Canada. It was kinda exciting to meet Joey because we’re we’re currently working on a project with Microsoft called Make Web Not War. The project is part conference and part contest.

Anyway, in this first part of our two part video interview with Joey, he talks about the ASP .NET MVC framework and how it differs from previous versions of ASP .Net. The ASP .NET MVC framework is part of Microsoft’s open-source efforts. It is a free and fully supported framework for building web applications that use the model-view-controller pattern. Joey also discusses Microsoft’s open-source department and the role they play within the organization.
