How Your Business Can Market Itself: Expand2Web 011

by Don Campbell on January 31, 2013

It’s not often that a book resonates with me but I was re-energized after reading The Referral Engine by John Jantsch.

The premise of the book is how to structure your business so that it markets itself through referrals instead of spending hundreds of dollars on expensive advertising campaigns.

There’s nothing tricky or suspect about this strategy but it does require a new way of thinking. Or at least an analysis of how you currently interact with your customers and the small changes you can make right now to improve that interaction and engagement.

In this episode I discuss the actual changes we made at Expand2Web after reading the book and how we’ve been impacted already.

I also made a Mind Map of The Referral Engine – which you can find at the bottom of this post:
How Reading The Referral Engine Changed My Business (includes Mind Map too)

If you read this book, tell me in the comment section what you took away from it and if you implemented any of the tips.
