Lisa Picarille, Jim Kukral, Shawn Collins and Sam Harrelson circled the wagons to discuss a wide ranging number of issues during an epic 100 minute GeekCast.
The conversation begins with a high quality discussion of Twitter and information consumption that soon moves into how we watch TV and listen to music in the new digital age. Jim discovers Hulu.com and is quite excited to be able to see all the episodes of The A-Team available there while Sam and Lisa discuss the metrics of giving away free music instead of charging for CD’s.
The group also discusses the recent Marky Zarc attack on the gang and how you can’t hide behind presumed anonymity if you’re making mistakes like letting your IP slip.
The rest of the conversation jumps from BlogWorldExpo coverage to the new BrightKite mobile social network to more talk about the upcoming Affiliate Summit and how the word will be spread via social media.
Lisa drops off around the hour mark to spend more time with her family while Jim drops off at the 70 minute mark to spend more time with Steve Rosenbaum… leaving Shawn and Sam the opportunity to go at it over the upcoming Obama and McCain contest. There is a wager made over the spread coming out of the North Carolina and Indiana primaries. Needless to say, Shawn lost $50 to charity. You’ll have to listen for the details.
The show comes in at 100 minutes, but is the best GeekCast to date (and if you’re playing Sorry, Jangro! you will not remember the end of the show… especially if you’re abiding by the new “Drink Every Time Lisa Complains” rule).

It's looking like I got it right if you don't count NC.

You should work for the Clinton campaign.
Because I am earnest, forthright, and tenacious?
Is it loyalty or boredom that kept me listening until the last “poop”? I don't know, but I did.
I had an intelligent comment to make…but by the time I got to the end I'd forgotten it.
