This week we’re talking with Chris Brogan about needlepoint. No, of course not – we’re talking with Chris about being a dad, balancing work and family, food & photography, blogging, our favorite conferences and comics.

This show marks the first appearance of the Shawn Collins Comic Book Segment. We have yet to decide if the name will stick, but we’ll be closing the show each week with a new segment all about the wonderful world of comic books and comics-related stuff. Excelsior!

    I listened to the entire comic book segment and had a revelation – maybe I am not qualified to be a Geek Dad, because I just can’t get into comic books.

    I liked the Archies at my dentist’s office back when I was a kid, but nothing since then.

    Awwww…. you can still be a geek dad. And if it makes you feel any better, we didn’t do a comics segment on the show we recorded last night ;)
