This is an interview with Jonathan Wage from SensioLabs.com. We caught up with Jonathan at Confoo where he’d given a presentation on Doctrine 2 for enterprise level development. Jonathan discussed with us how Doctrine 2 is an improvement on earlier versions of its implementation, as well as what are some of the barriers to open-source technology obtaining wide-scale use by corporate America. He also shared with us his thoughts on Microsoft’s recent engagement with the open-source community — namely, how he sees it as an opportunity for open-source developers engage the corporate world with their technologies.
