David Zülke on Microsoft and Open-Source

by CT Moore on March 29, 2010

This is the first part of a two part interview with David Zülke, the lead developer for the Agavi Framework. We caught up with David at Confoo where he was giving a couple presentation, and convinced him to sit down with us to chat for a few minutes.

In this installment of our interview with David, he discusses Microsoft’s recent efforts to engage the open-source community, as well as what he sees as some of their biggest competitors — namely Amazon and Google. He also notes that Microsoft’s efforts seem to be moving in the right direction, and that Agavi is even currently working with Microsoft to ensure that Microsoft servers fully support the Agavi Framework.
