This week on the Brandmouthing podcast, I talk about tools and strategies to build and monitor a brand on Twitter.
I also discuss the keynote from Guy Kawasaki at Search Engine Strategies 2009 in New York and where I think his actions are an asset and a liability to his brand.

Great show Shawn! I couldn't write fast enough on all the little Twitter tools that you were talking about, I plan on implementing some of them over the next couple of days.
Also, after reading your blog and listening to the show and looking at all the tweets he has done it the past couple of days, I stopped following Guy Kawasaki, branding is one thing, spamming is another.
Hi James –
Glad you found it helpful. The one time I really liked from Guy was to set up a search query with multiple terms from Twitter Search.
I have about 8 terms set in a query in TweetDeck now to help monitor mentions of brands, ideas, and industries.
