For those of you following along, I’m trying to dominate “Eric Nagel” on Yahoo! Images by uploading some photos of Eric Nagel on Flickr. Photos have been uploaded today; I’ll follow-up in upcoming shows.
I’ve got some ranking for you – time to optimize.
Some of the results are just dumb. I’ll keep working on it.
Maybe you should work on optimizing “Shawn Collins”
Oh, I am on it.
By the way, I didn’t know you were a Deacon – http://bit.ly/eric-nagel
I would be interested to hear your points of view on how your positive or negative experience with a product, or retailer affects your interest in promoting that product through an affiliate channel vs. the simple appeal of a new niche, hot topic or major event.
Hey guys, great show! Thanks for sharing the formula (h1, title, meta tag…right?)
Here is a show idea:
Useful Wordpress tools for Affiliate Marketing (i.e. themes, plugins, iphone apps, etc)…like how to use tools like Thesis, All-in-one SEO, and Prettylinks to your advantage as an affiliate.
There was a webinar last month about how Bing dumped its cash back program and rumor is they were going to drive something closely related to google product search/froogle.
There is a new webinar available July 22nd: http://bit.ly/cEO8JO
This may be interesting to affiliates since it is more about how their partnership is going to affect the paid search landscape in both areas.
I’d be interested to hear what platforms and best practices you’d recommend to build the content on a site and if they have any long-term value for use in affiliate marketing for growing revenue. Basic stuff, I’m sure, but good for newbies like me looking to monetize content on a site.
Another topic to go for the Gold pass…
Both sides of the track special on
Do “make money” affiliate software actually work.
Try doing some case studies or getting examples from people that actually make a how to earn money quick software work.
I was listening to a pitch for WPPages.com that has an automated blog service to build out 1k of buying keyword phrase posts.
It could be a good way to educate people on what to avoid and what might actually work to automate things like
ping.fm, tubemogul, networkedblogs and things to speed up your time online vs some of the $77 to $97 products out there.
Thanks for all the suggestions – winners were e-mailed Monday morning!
