      Nah, that article makes fun of the tuck, too. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a person tuck at a sporting event in my life.

    I am not in agreement with you guys on the solo vs panel sessions.

    I would rather sit through a presentation by one person than have to sit there and have everyone introduce themselves on a panel. That usually waste 10-15 minutes depending on their ego. You only have enough time to get all the info provided and having an introducing time to me is a waste of time.

      I instruct the moderators to introduce all panelists and to read the bios we have in the program. If anybody didn’t do that, please let me know, because I hate the speakers giving their own intros, too, and won’t tolerate such a waste of time.

        I actually didn’t know that. Each of the four of us did his/her own introduction, but all combined, it only took 2 minutes and 16 seconds, so we didn’t waste too much time ;)

        I’ll keep that in mind for next time if/when I do another panel though.

            Sure I do! Mostly… apparently…

            You got me curious so I checked all the speaker-related emails and I do see that there’s a line in the one that went out to moderators that says to introduce everyone with a brief bio that can be found on the Agenda page.

            Color me suitably chastised :)

    Shawn it didn’t happen at this Summit. When I look at presentations to attend on agendas I usually avoid panels at all cost. Just a personal preference.
