This week on the Affiliate Thing podcast, Shawn Collins and Lisa Picarille talk about how it would be fun to run an affiliate sports site based around a video show, interviews with Affiliate Summit Central 2012 speakers, and issue 18 of FeedFront magazine hitting mailboxes.

Good section on sports affiliate marketing.   Compliance with trademarks and licensing takes a little work, but if you apply some common sense, do some trademark research before you pick up domains, and work with your affiliate manager to clear anything you have questions on, it can be a lot of fun and pretty lucrative.

I’d enjoy watching you talk about your own teams – I think for fans of teams with big rivalries, it could be cool to not only get local fans as viewers, but also the people that love to hate those teams.
