Play

The first Affiliate ABCs podcast from NYFalcon and Loxly was pretty off the cuff and we started talking about A/B testing which peaked some people’s interest. So here is a 15 Minute lesson where we talk about it. Have a listen, then post any followup questions here over in the threads at ABCs Plus Forum.

We would love to cover topics by request. The next planned podcast will be the ABCs of how to get started with Twitter. From creating an account to finding friends, etiquette for retweeting, following and unfollowing, we’ll try to give you the basics.

I enjoyed the second one! Thanks so much that was very helpful. I would definitely like to hear more about the rss feeds with feeburner. I had read in several places that its better to host your own feeds. What do you think?

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your comment, as for RSS feeds I have heard the debate on both using Feedburner and hosting it yourself. I have used both forms for my sites but have changed over my newest sites to use Feedburner just for the simplicity of it.

With my feeds I am signed up for adsense for feeds through Feedburner and can make a little pocket change without having to place ads manually into it. This also means that people that are subscribing to my rss feed and read it through a reader get to see ads without even being on my website. Sure you can manually put ads in and affiliate links but I find it too time consuming.

Hope that helps
Vinny
